New York (USA) October 09 (ANI): India’s Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations, New York Parvathaneni Harish delivered India's statement at the General Debate on 'Fostering Resilience and Growth in an Uncertain World’. He emphasized the need for resilience and growth in uncertain times during the General Debate. He highlighted that the Global South has been severely impacted by multiple crises and urged focus on the most vulnerable populations, ensuring no one is left behind. Empowering women and youth is crucial for building resilient societies, and India's story serves as a model. By leveraging digital technology, India aims to create replicable digital templates for the developing world. Harish also stressed the importance of the Global South voicing shared concerns and uniting around common interests Global South has been disproportionately impacted by multiple crises. Need to focus on the issues of the most vulnerable, with the aim of leaving no one behind. Empowering women and youth is key to building resilient societies. Highlighted the India story.
